I have watched an interview with the designers of Agua Bendita a while back. Aqua Bendita was founded in 2003 by swimwear designers Catalina Alvarez and Mariana Hinestroza in Medellin, Colombia. If you are interested in the story behind the brand, you can read this article of huffingtonpost.com.
The shop has swimsuits and bikinis that are very colorful, with allot of details into it. From my understanding it takes the designer 8 to 10 days to complete this work of art.
I went to have a look at the fabric and the colors. The prices vary between 200 and
400 guilders. They are absolutely a work of art and the fabric is sturdy, and
they also have pieces that you can wear both sides.
From my chat with the salesperson in the store, the details used on the swimsuit being
the beads and the fringes will not take off. Hence the price they are sold at.
Rest assured that you will have a work of art on!
